Daniel R. Theriault, Q.C. has been practicing law since 1988.
He specializes in property law, administrative law, indigenous law, environmental law, civil litigations, wills and estates, as well as corporate and commercial law. He has represented various self-regulating professions as well as many first nation communities within the province of New Brunswick.
Outside of private practice, Mr. Theriault previously served as the first full time Chairperson of the Workers Compensation Appeals Tribunal. He also served as the public intervener before the Energy and Utilities Board from 2006 to 2011. He was appointed a Queens Counsel in 2008.
Mr. Theriault has appeared before all levels of Court, including two appearances before the Supreme Court of Canada. He is currently a member of the Law Society of Saint John, the York-Sunbury Law Society, the Law Society of New Brunswick, the Canadian Bar Association, the Council of Canadian Administrative Tribunals (CCAT) and the Foundation of Administrative Justice (FOAJ).
